These motor-driven 3 mL capacity PYREX® tissue grinders (homogenizers) are used in preparing small samples for pathological and biochemical studies. The clearance between the ground tube and pestle is approximately 0.15mm. The parts are ground to a medium grind to insure adequate abrasive qualities, yet deliver a fine homogenous sample. -Caution: If used with a motor-driven device, the attachment must contain some form of friction release clutch to prevent damage to the apparatus from pieces of connective tissue or muscle.
