The multi-sampler with separate collection chambers is a sampler for simultaneous collection of multiple target point samples from different areas or layers of bulk solids. It combines the advantages of rugged and inert stainless steel with the light weight of PTFE.
The multi-sampler with separate collection chambers is a special sampler for simultaneous collection of multiple target point samples from different zones or layers of a variety of bulk materials.
The zone sampler allows differentiated and representative sampling from different depths or areas within a bag, drum, silo, big bag or pile. The multi-zone sampler is particularly useful in situations where the composition of the material varies with depth or area and a single sample is not sufficient to accurately characterize the entire material.
The target point samples can be analyzed individually after collection to investigate variability within a material or between different layers of material, or they can be subsequently mixed to obtain a composite sample that is representative of the entire material. This method ensures that the final sample is representative of the average composition of the material, which is essential for proper analysis and quality control.
The lances can be used both vertically and horizontally, making the sampler a very versatile sampler for different containers.
The design with minimal gap between the inner and outer tube reduces the risk of contamination and increases the accuracy of sampling. The removable tip also facilitates cleaning to effectively prevent cross-contamination between different samples.
Marking the samplers with colored caps facilitates identification and prevents confusion when using multiple samplers for different bulk solids.
The robust design of the multi-sampler ensures a long service life, even with regular use. The high quality workmanship ensures reliability and precision with every sample.
The multi-sampler 316L (1.4404) stainless steel with PTFE core combines the advantages of the rugged and inert stainless steel sampler with the light weight of PTFE. The zone sampler is extremely rugged, has excellent chemical resistance, and is more cost effective than an all stainless steel sampler.
The excellent sliding properties of PTFE make it easy to rotate, making it ideal for demanding applications. The smaller gap between the chamber and the tube also minimizes particle buildup.

Applications
The multi-sampler is used where it is necessary to sample from several zones or layers simultaneously to obtain a comprehensive analysis of the composition, quality, impurities or inconsistencies of a material. For example, in the food industry to check the homogeneity and quality of bulk materials such as grain, corn, nuts, powders or granules; in the pharmaceutical industry for quality control of raw materials, intermediate and finished products; in the chemical industry to analyze chemicals, powders to ensure homogeneity of mixture and compliance with specifications; in the construction industry, materials science, research and development to examine bulk materials such as sand, gravel and other materials.
