The is a high-quality hand pump for use with liquids and flammable media such as acetone, ethanol, isopropanol and methanol. Use with small containers such as bottles, canisters, carboys and tanks with GL45 threads, from 1 liter up to 10 liters in size. Accessory thread adapters are available that allow this pump to fit on S40, GL38 & GL32 threads.
The Mini Solvent Pump works according to the excess pressure principle. Through use of the pump ball and the PTFE tubing, liquid is forced from the container due to the pressure build up. The pump includes a pressure relief valve for safety purposes.
Parts that come into contact with the media are stainless steel (1.4301 and 1.4404) and PTFE tubing cut to size; both have excellent chemical resistance. Also included is a grounding cable that easily inserts into the pump housing, for the purpose of diverting any electrostatic charges.
