Short path distillation set for use in distillation, extraction and purification of botanical oils. Made from high quality borosilicate 3.3 glass components.
The pieces in this set feature superior chemical durability and heat tolerance. 24/40 connections provide secure connections when used with the included keck clips.
Included glassware: Short path distillation head, cold trap, distillation receiver, 1000ml round bottom receiving flask, 2000ml double-neck round bottom flask, and three 250ml single neck round bottom flasks.
Included additional parts: Two test tubes with caps, thermometer inlet adapter, small stopper, four tubing connectors, cold trap clamp, four plastic Keck clips and a large stopper. Set does NOT include stands, clamps or heating elements.
Autoclavable, with superior chemical durability. Low temperature gradient- can withstand high temperatures & thermal shocks. Eisco Labs Borosilicate glass has the following heat tolerances: Strain Point -515°C | Annealing Point 565°C | Softening Point 820°C.
