The Uno sampler is a single chamber sampler designed to collect a target point sample from bulk material. After sampling, the target point sample can be analyzed individually or multiple target point samples can be taken and a composite sample prepared.

The single chamber Uno target point sampler is designed to take a targeted sample from an area or layer of a variety of bulk materials.

The zone sampler allows a sample to be taken from a desired depth or zone within a bag, drum, silo, big bag or pile.
Once collected, the target point sample can be analyzed individually, e.g., to investigate variability within a material or between different layers of material, or multiple target point samples can be collected to produce a composite sample that is representative of the entire material. This method ensures that the final sample is representative, i.e. reflects the average composition of the material, which is essential for correct analysis and quality control.

The 1.4404 (V4A) stainless steel Uno sampler with PTFE core combines the advantages of the robust and inert stainless steel sampler with the lighter weight of PTFE. The zone sampler is extremely robust and has excellent chemical resistance.

Marking the samplers with colored caps facilitates identification and prevents mix-ups when using multiple samplers for different bulk solids.

The robust design of the Uno sampler ensures a long service life, even with regular use. The high quality workmanship ensures reliability and precision with every sample.

Features

• Take a target point sample
• Allows for targeted analysis or a representative composite sample
• Versatile in use, for a wide range of bulk solids
• Rugged and durable due to high quality workmanship
• Suitable for demanding applications

Applications

The Uno sampler is suitable for precise and targeted sampling of all types of bulk materials and is used wherever it is necessary to take samples from one or more zones or layers in order to obtain a targeted or comprehensive analysis of the composition, quality, impurities or anomalies of a material. For example, in the food industry to check the homogeneity and quality of bulk materials such as grains, corn, nuts, powders or granules; in the pharmaceutical industry for quality control of raw materials, intermediate and finished products; in the chemical industry to analyze chemicals, powders to ensure homogeneity of mixture and compliance with specifications; in the construction industry, materials science, research and development to examine bulk materials such as sand, gravel and other materials.

• Turn the handle of the zone collector clockwise. The collector is now closed and can be pierced into the powder/granulate.
• At the desired depth, turn the handle of the zone collector counterclockwise. The collection chamber opens and is filled with sample.
• Turn the handle on the collector clockwise. The collector is now closed and can be removed from the powder/granulate.
• Open the collector and empty the sample onto an appropriately prepared surface.
